Fletcher Ridge Falls is the tallest waterfall I have found in the valley at 133 ft. Trees grow tall near the deep cove under the falls. A beautiful layer of ice coats the boulder of the free flowing falls in the winter.
Backcountry hiking where there are no trails is dangerous and you must accept any and all obstacles and hazards you may face. You alone assume responsibility for your own safety and equipment and must be both physically and mentally prepared and equipped with the appropriate gear. Only you can judge your skills relative to the conditions found in the backcountry and any possible risk. You alone decide when, where and how to proceed, or not.
